Travel has always excited me, but I’ve never been the backpacking sort. From the first time I stepped into a 4 star hotel, it was true love. Don’t get me started on the 5 star. Since then I’ve been traveling as much as I could, always w the hotel as an equally important part of the trip, and sometimes the main part,  that’s  right,  I sometimes even plan my trips around the hotels!  I recently went back to Honolulu just to stay in my beloved Royal Hawaiian.  It’s a pink palace on the sea where you can see surfers do their thing with diamond head volcano as the backdrop, oh, and they invented the Mai tai 🙂 Always spotlessly clean and comfortable, whether it’s a minimal and zen style, or an opulent rococo, there is a hotel out there that fits my mood.  That certain peaceful and anonymous feeling that I can only get in a hotel is like a tranquilizer of sorts. I’ve done the research , both online and checking in to hotels all around the world. As time has passed the hotels have become swankier, but at the end of the day I will always love a bargain.
